Giant Publication Weekly World News Rips Off Meltingclocktimes.com

Their newspapers are for sale in thousands of grocery store checkout lines. They sell over two million copies a week. The Weekly World News has hundreds of writers. But where do they go to get hot, relevant stories? Right here. Either it is a very weird coincidence or, The Weekly World News has ripped off Meltingclocktimes.com. Last September 27, we published an article, Nerds Plotting To Take Over The World! Three and a half months later the Jan. 10 Weekly World News, on page 21, copied the exact headline. The article was somewhat different but many similarities can only make you wonder if it was a coincidence. For example, we have the phrase, “bent on world domination” and so does the WWN article.

We have a list of demands that the nerds will require and so does the WWN story. One of the demands, that everyone must wear thick glasses, is the same. If you can track down the WWN article you will see there are many other similarities.

We wrote to the Weekly World News asking for an explanation and for 90% of the author's pay. (He is entitled to 10% for the original parts.) So far they have not replied.

Media commentator Ernst Twidlemeyer has an intriguing explanation for the WWN plagiarism. “Perhaps benevolent beings from outer space planted this information in both WWN author Mike Foster's and Meltingclocktimes.com author Brian Friedkin's heads in order to save the human race.”

But media pundits and observers are wondering, “Why did these benevolent beings from space plant this information in Meltingclocktimes.com and World Weekly News writers' heads and not in New York Times and Washington Post writers heads?”

Media expert Jello Rustwort offered an intriguing theory in last week's issue of Media Pundit Weekly, “Maybe the benevolent aliens intended to plant the information in New York Times writers' heads. But perhaps these nerds are so clever they deflected the brain waves and directed them to the WWN and Meltingclocktimes.com. Since most people don't take these publications seriously no one would dream that these evil nerds actually are plotting to take over the world. If true it is a genius plan and we must remain extra vigilant against evil nerd plots."

Meltingclocktimes.com
What do you think?
The Weekly World News clearly ripped off Meltingclocktimes.com.
It is just a strange coincidence. Geniuses think alike and fools seldom differ.
Benevolent beings from space planted this information in both writers' heads to save the human race.
Nerds deflected the info so everyone will think it's a satire & make an easier takeover.
All of the above.
